Yiddish: A Tale of Survival
The grassroots efforts to maintain the viability of Yiddish is captured by the stories of three individuals: Shmuel Atzmon, a holocaust survivor and founder of Israel’s first Yiddish Repertory theatre; Bryna Wasserman, the brains behind the first ever International Yiddish Theatre Festival in Montreal; and Milena Kartowski, a young performer and Yiddish activist from Paris.
